ASHLEY RYAN COOK

THERAPY

I’m Ashley, a licensed psychotherapist based in San Francisco. I work with women in their 20’s and 30’s who are navigating burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, and the pressure to “do it all”, often while feeling disconnected from themselves in the process.

Does this sound like you?

Despite being high-achieving or organized you feel like you’re just barely holding it together.

Making a small mistake feels like a total failure.

You spend a lot of your time trying to hide your struggles, control your environment, and be “that girl”.

Any type of criticism feels like a personal questioning of your character.

When you remove the achievements, plans, relationships, you feel like you don’t know who you are or what you like.

You have difficulty enjoying life and having fun.

You’re not alone.

You've been the anchor for so long, but it's wearing you down.

You're accomplished and capable, the go-to person for everyone. Yet beneath that strong exterior lies a deep exhaustion that rest alone can't soothe.

You find yourself concealing your challenges, striving to orchestrate every detail, and aspiring to be the ideal version of yourself.

Criticism, no matter how small, can echo in your mind, leaving you questioning your very essence. Beneath the surface of accomplishments, plans, and relationships, there's a lingering uncertainty about who you truly are and what brings you joy.

Life's simple pleasures and moments of fun seem elusive, overshadowed by the pressure to maintain a flawless exterior. You might be wondering if something deeper needs to be addressed.

Many women share these silent struggles.

Therapy for women who are tired of just surviving

You don't need another productivity hack or self-care checklist. You need space to understand why things feel so hard, to stop fighting against yourself, and to build a life that doesn't require constant performance.

  • I work with women in their 20’s and 30’s navigating burnout, anxiety, chronic stress, and the weight of unspoken expectations—especially those who've spent a lifetime masking, compensating, and wondering why everything takes so much more effort than it seems to take everyone else.

  • Together, we'll explore what's underneath the exhaustion, unravel the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and help you reconnect with the person you've been too busy to be.

  • Expect a partnership in therapy, where you're the expert on your life. I'm here to provide perspective, tools, and support as you craft your desired life. Our sessions promise:

    - A warm, non-judgmental space

    - Clear structure and direction

    - Practical, evidence-based tools

    - Room to explore deeper emotions and past experiences

    - Collaboration rooted in respect
